From #1 New York Times bestselling author Julie Murphy and USA Today bestselling author Sierra Simone comes a brand-new college town raunch-com about a sexy single dad professor and a feisty law school grad turned nanny in this steamy tale of Academic Affairs…

She wants to be a good girl. He’s dying to teach her.

New to town and freshly single, rookie lecturer Maddie isn’t looking for trouble … until she ends up in bed with Bram – a sexy, grumpy single dad – on her first night.

The catch? He’s her new boss at home (he needs a nanny), and her colleague at work (he’s a professor, too). So to make it work, they set some ground

– No more sex

– They can never be alone in the house together

But Maddie’s great at breaking these rules, and Bram’s even better at dishing out consequences…

⤖ My Review ⬻

I absolutely adored the start of Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone’s other series, A Merry Little Meet Cute (and I need to finish that series), so I was intrigued by Fundamentals of Being a Good Girl…but I wasn’t sure about some of the combination of tropes in the book…What ended up convincing me was the dedication page! It mentions my name. And while I know the Flavia it’s meant for (and it’s not me!) I never see my name on dedication pages, so now I need every edition of this book!

That aside…I was lucky to snag a digital copy from Frenzy (Harper Collins Canada) so that I could read it, and I’m so glad I did! Fundamentals of Being a Good Girl was a lot of fun for me. Despite my trepidation about some of the tropes and themes of the book, everything worked really really well! I should have never doubted the Murphy Simone team. I also didn’t realize the FMC is the sister of the MMC in A Merry Little Meet Cute! So that was a nice connection for me. There was a tiny lag for me somewhere around the middle of Fundamentals of Being a Good Girl, but I pushed through and ended up really liking it overall.
