Monthly Wrap-Up (February 2026)

Since they were in the same universe and Your Knife, My Heart comes first within the world’s timeline (even though it’s published second), I decided to read Leave Me Behind first. I mainly worried that Your Knife, My Heart would potentially spoil Leave Me Behind. I’m happy to share that’s not the case! But I’m… Read More Monthly Wrap-Up (January 2026)
As those of you who have been following this blog for some time will know, I don’t read and review a lot of middle-grade titles. The At the Heels of History books sounded and looked so cute, though, that I couldn’t resist! Add in the fact that I’m a dog lover, and these just seemed… Read More At the Heels of History, Books 1-3 (Multi-Book Review)
Thank you so much to Penguin Random House Canada for sending me complimentary physical copies of the first Pocket Change Collective books to read and review! I was hoping to make this post in late December, or earlier in January, but as tends to happen…life got in the way. So, without further… Read More My Top Reads of 2020
Welcome to my monthly wrap-up post for September 2020! It’s very very late…but better late than never, right? Work has been crazy busy still and the only thing helping me kind of stay afloat with my reading is audiobooks. I will say that I’m suuuuuuper behind on writing reviews. You’ll see later in this post… Read More Monthly Wrap-Up (September 2020)

Anyway, I was happy to find that this new formula goes on smooth. When smelling the deodorant initially, I could only smell the rose. When I applied it, however, it seems that the heat of my skin activated the black pepper smell (which I thought was very cool!), and that was a bit more dominant… Read More Schmidt’s: Rose + Black Pepper & Charcoal + Magnesium Deodorants (Product Review)
Welcome to my monthly wrap-up post for August 2020! I had this post ready to go beyond this intro section way before the end of the month. Who knew that it would take this long to write my intro?! Haha. I’m gonna blame work because I spend almost every waking moment thinking about this one… Read More Monthly Wrap-Up (August 2020)
I’m a bit late with my July monthly wrap-up post, but a few days late is still better than 3 months late right? Haha. It also looks like I posted quite a few book reviews! I’ve been catching up on my reading and writing reviews it seems. Yay! How’s your reading going? Are you on track?… Read More Monthly Wrap-Up (July 2020)
Some people ARE illegal. Lobizonas do NOT exist. Both of these statements are false. Manuela Azul has been crammed into an existence that feels too small for her. As an undocumented immigrant who’s on the run from her father’s Argentine crime-family, Manu is confined to a small apartment and a small life in Miami, Florida. Until Manu’s protective bubble is shattered. Her surrogate grandmother is attacked, lifelong lies are exposed, and her mother is arrested by ICE. Without a home, without answers, and finally without shackles, Manu investigates the only clue she has about her past–a mysterious “Z” emblem… Read More Lobizona by Romina Garber (Blog Tour: Review)
